Welcome to Crooked Creek Distillery. We set up the distillery in an early 1900's industrial building, that once housed Ford Model A and T cars. After many long nights and uncountable hours, we transformed and remodeled the former car house, into the home for Crooked Creek Distillery.

Our contemporary rustic distillery is located in West Newton, PA along the Youghiogheny River, just a 'stone's throw' from the Greater Allegheny Passage (GAP) bike trail. In the colonial era and in the early United Stats, the valley of the river provided and important route of access through the mountains for settlers and military forces from Virginia to western Pennsylvania and the Ohio County. At Sumrill's Ferry, present-day West Newton Pennsylvania, on the river, pioneers built flatboats which carried them down to the Ohio River, and onward to the Northwest Territory.

As native of West Newton, and a pioneer himself, Dave, poured his love of moonshine and barbecue food into this small community and old building. As an Army Veteran, he utilized his experience and attention to detail, and hosts food, fun, and adventure for his guests.

Dave invites you to stop in, and sample his hand crafted spirits. The distillery is open on Saturday and Sundays, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. He looks forward to seeing you at the Yough Trail!
